in pursuit of light

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

-Matthew 7:7-8

“ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

-John 8:12

I could tell you how my summer went but to be completely frank, that’s not the message aching to be unleashed on this blog today! There is a lot I could say and perhaps I should say but, the words aren’t there. Simply put - it can be difficult to be so explicit when there’s too much happening around us. In my time away, I had many moments of figuring out how to come back to this space which I love so much because it represents nothing but light. The only message I want to convey today is ensuring that we find ways to come back to the light. To remember it exists, especially in times of uncertainty, transitioning, and change. The story behind all the photos I’m sharing here, is the pursuit of light. Each photo represents my growing gratitude for life and all that it has to give. This life is a gift, and I’m thankful we all get to be a part of it. Never stop appreciating life, no matter what happens.

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”

-Genesis 1:3-4

Until the next one
